Scripture

  • Our Christian duty to act with love

“I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Whatever you did for one of the least of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25

Prayer

  • Prayer for Refugees – Vinnie’s Winter Appeal 2016

Almighty and merciful God, whose Son became a refugee and had no place to call his own; look with mercy on those who are fleeing from danger, those who are homeless and hungry. Bless those who work to bring them relief. Inspire generosity and compassion in all our hearts and guide the nations of the world towards that day when all will rejoice in your Kingdom of justice and peace. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
